184 workers & helpers adicted for tobacco chewing or using tobacco to clean the teeth, were checked up at M/s Endurance Systems P Ltd, Chakan; where mjority of workers are from Talegaon. Dr Swati Jadhav from Talegaon examined them thoroughly between 12pm to 4pm. 4 of them were detected for suspected cancer & then confirmed later. Their treatment is already started by our club, which is followed up by Rtn Dr Neh Kulkarni, who is the project leader. All workers were first explained about the dental care & cause of cancer. Awareness created amongst them.
